Don't be afraid to apply for jobs you think you have no shot at getting. You will surprise yourself.

My biggest tip is: leap! It doesn’t matter what background you come from, or whether you have experience in the area (I had absolutely ZERO experience in glass). Coming from diverse and unrelated backgrounds can help as it allows you to approach the glass world with a fresh perspective and put your unique spin on it.

The course structure is interesting and challenging. We learn theory, and we are also prepared to face the real world in terms of employment.
