Everyone at DLA Piper has the opportunity to make an impact and shape their career by exploring their unique interests, whilst being meaningfully supported and challenged along the way.
What I love most about my job is the challenge it provides. Errors occur daily, or troubleshooting and debugging are required to find where things have gone wrong. This provides a challenge of determining how things are working within a code base - and finding which behaviours are expected!
Over the course of my two years of graduate experience, I will have worked across the business performance management team, financial accounting team, tax team, and revenue management team.
My role is very demanding when it comes to being disciplined and organized. When managing projects that engage with a lot of different stakeholders, you need to be confident in yourself to execute what needs to be done and prepared to be put out of your comfort zone

The most interesting aspect has been the numerous sites I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in. It’s an eye opener to see the challenges that arise delivering a project on site compared to what’s been written on paper.
