As a second-year nurse I feel underpaid.
Graduate, Melbourne - 13 Nov 2023
I think staff should be paid when we have to go over our shift finish time because if handover/riskmans/patient loads that require more time.
Graduate, Brisbane - 10 Nov 2023
Quite poor considering the amount of work you are asked to do.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
The pay is terrible. Not only do staff work to the max, but they are not even rewarded for the work they do. Inflation is high, we work all the time to what use?
Graduate, Port Macquarie - 07 Nov 2023
The salary should be higher or at least equal to regular staffs as grads get the same amount of patient load and this is without supervision. No bonuses, and I don't get rostered on public holidays.
Graduate, Melbourne - 06 Nov 2023
Could have more
Graduate, Brisbane - 06 Nov 2023
I get paid less from my previous work.
Graduate, Sydney - 06 Nov 2023
Who doesn't want more pay?! It is human nature. Some shifts I really earn my money and others I feel I earned my money very easily. Every day is so different. There are no bonuses that I know of.
Graduate, Brisbane - 05 Nov 2023
We are not given any pay rise or bonuses by ramsay. Compared to other healthcare facilities and the public system this is shocking. Especially considering the hard work we put into our jobs and the outcomes that are achieved at the hospital.
Graduate, Sydney - 05 Nov 2023
As nurses we are worked much harder than in the public system. We have higher patient to nurse ratios and yet get paid less than the nurses in public. It is disgusting. There are no bonuses.
Graduate, Sydney - 04 Nov 2023
Never heard of bonuses
Graduate, Brisbane - 03 Nov 2023
We don't get bonuses and our EBA hasn't been renewed for 4 years.
Graduate, Perth - 03 Nov 2023
I am very satisfied.
Graduate, Nambour - 03 Nov 2023
Compared to QLD health our pay is very low. The company doesn't offer any bonuses. I
Graduate, Brisbane - 03 Nov 2023
The pay is pretty great with the new pay rise but rather than pizza parties and food as bonuses or coffee shop vouchers, I would prefer a pay bonus for our hard work.
Graduate, Cairns - 03 Nov 2023
I believe we should be on the same as other hospitals mainly public pay rates. We should be on the same
Graduate, Ipswich - 03 Nov 2023
They rate of pay is far too little compared to the work we do as Enrolled nurses, mostly we perform same duties as Registered Nurses. The only difference is not being able to carry S8 keys ans cannot initiate medication. Our rate is same as carer's rate in nursing homes
Graduate, Perth - 03 Nov 2023
Wish I was paid more
Graduate, Brisbane - 03 Nov 2023
the pay is satisfactory, could be better, but it is only a starting salary in the role. it would be nice if there were bonuses or extra money if you have worked hard.
Graduate, Brisbane - 02 Nov 2023
only started working hence not aware what bonuses are given out, pay could match government hospital wages
