As a Technical Service Scientist, you are responsible to:
- Provide prompt, professional and accurate advisory support to customers on hematology and immunoassay/immunochemistry products over the phone.
- Document product complaints with established SOPs.
- Take ownership of customers, develop relationships, offer advice and support sales.
- Handle technical queries from customers from initial query through solution and follow-up, ensuring customer satisfaction at the highest level.
- Develop your own technical knowledge necessary to support customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in Biological Sciences or related field.
- Medical Technician, Master or PhD is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
- Ability to discuss and troubleshoot instrumentation and related applications over the phone.
- Experience with automation and instrumentation.
- Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a focus on helping customers and others.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to take ownership of complex information and customer interactions, to provide excellent support with a focus on customers, and to work in a changing environment.
- Ability to work in teams across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones.
