What is the Trainee Program?
Combine your university studies with work experience to build the perfect foundation for your career, all while receiving professional and financial support in a paid role.
To be eligible to join the Trainee Program, you must have two full-time years of study remaining on your undergraduate degree course and have already completed:
Balance is important to us. That's why you'll receive one day of paid study while working four days a week on a paid salary. After this period, take a break from work to complete your degree.
Your Future Team
In the PwC Private Tax team, you’ll find yourself in a culture that values curiosity, collaboration and critical thinking. Alongside your peers, you’ll create solutions for problems such as managing and executing transactions in the private market while ensuring tax compliance. We provide expert advice on tax compliance matters and represent clients during Australian Taxation Office (ATO) engagements, managing their tax reporting obligations. This ensures transactions align with commercial objectives and comply with Australian tax laws. Or families facing challenges in transferring wealth between generations and achieving philanthropic goals. We design and implement structures that meet commercial objectives, offer advice on new investments or business assets, and support private charities and philanthropic giving. This ensures seamless wealth transfer and impactful contributions to environmental, social, and charitable causes. You'll use problem-solving, integrity and a growth mindset to make an impact across a range of industries including entrepreneurs, high-net-wealth individuals and family offices. Along the way, you’ll build relationships and skills to set you up for a lifetime of success.
What will a normal day look like? Well you can count on that every day you will:
As a trainee in PwC Private Tax, you’ll need a degree in Accounting, Commerce, Law, Finance, Business or similar. You’ll also need to be either an AU citizen, NZ citizen, AU Permanent Resident or an international student with a work rights visa.
The anticipated start date is February 24th, 2025.
