Junior Data Analyst (Data Collection & Verification) (Rolling Intake)

Your role

ISS is looking for an analytically minded and technically savvy individuals to join their growing Data Organization as Junior Data Analyst in Makati, Philippines.

Main duties and responsibilities are:

• Acquiring new data and maintain existing data through website research
• Working with data and product departments to ensure data completeness and integrity
• Completing daily research deliverables
• Effectively utilizing proprietary databases and the Internet to complete research
• Performing data quality assurance: identifying and analyzing data quality issues
• Working collaboratively with team members both in the Philippines and in the U.S.
• Supporting relevant process improvement and technology projects by contributing to specifications and testing deliverables.
• Helping maintain documentation of work processes and institutional knowledge in a centralized, web-based database.
• Participating in a variety of other data management initiatives and assist on special projects as assigned

About you

Qualified candidates possess these skills ang qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree graduate in Finance, Business, Economics, or any closely related field (Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; can thrive in a cross-border / multi-cultural work environment.
• Strong analytical skills to help interpret and aid in translation of industry data
• Ability to take initiative to research and find a solution to presented or unidentified issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other technical abilities preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines
• Self-motivated/starter with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Working knowledge and understanding of the financial services and insurance industries a plus
• Experience using Excel to manipulate and prepare financial data a plus
• Amenable working at Makati City on a permanent late day shift schedule (12 noon – 9 pm Manila Time)
• Amenable to go on a 2-month onsite training prior to transitioning to hybrid working arrangement.
• Hybrid working arrangement (at least 3 days' work onsite per week)
