Junior Analyst - Data Operations and Research (Rolling Intake)

Your role

ISS is looking for outstanding fresh graduates who would like to fill the role of Junior Analyst and support their UK based Data Ops and Research team.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Gathering and updating information and undertaking research on organizations involved in the Financial Services industry using web-based resources, telephone research, and other techniques where applicable
• Accurately and efficiently entering the information gathered into a research database
• To be involved in quality checking and administrative processes helping to ensure the quality and accuracy of the research database
• Supporting the on time & accurate delivery BAU products by collecting data on time and ensuring tracking systems are up to date
• Testing outputs for quality standards as required.
• Adhering to BAU release processes
• Communicating progress, issues and risks relating to releases in a timely and relevant manner
• Managing deadlines and escalating issues from each stage of the release process 
• To support and be involved in all other areas undertaken within the data ops team as required by the management team.

About you

A good fit for the role possesses these qualities:

• Bachelor's degree – preferably in business, finance, economics, or other business/data related field
• Knowledge of the financial sector desirable
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Able to attend internal/client queries & requests
• Competence with the Internet
• Data entry and computer keyboard skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good numeracy & excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Good problem-solving capability
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Self-motivated with an interest to pick up new skills
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with all levels of profession
•  Amenable working at Makati City on a permanent dayshift schedule (11am – 8pm, Manila Time) 
• Amenable to undergo 3-6 months onsite training (12pm-9pm) prior to transitioning to hybrid working arrangement. 
• Hybrid working arrangement (at least 3 days’ work onsite per week)
