Your role

• Provide staff reinforcement for the DCSO Manila team to support requirements and fully cover 24/7 operations wherein the majority of the regular team members will be utilized for project work.
• Review and update documentation that is used on daily operations.
• Perform basic to intermediate L1 and L2 support processes on the following platform, Windows, and Converged technologies.
• Involved in coordination with the technical team on incidents and requests. - Create entries in the Global Calendar to change activities.
• Perform QA on server builds and escalate if a process workflow has errored out.
• Review and route incidents and requests to the proper queue and follow escalation procedures. - Will be required to work over the weekend to cover shift gaps.
• Initiate automation and scripting activities to improve the manual process in the DCSO.
• Participate in the scheduled Project and DR maintenance activities for the next 12 months.

About you

• Completed degree in IT, computer science, computer engineering, or comparable course
• Any understanding of the concepts below is a plus:
  • Familiarity with system administration in Windows and Linux (RHEL, Oracle) environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (preferably Ansible).
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Linux containers, VMware ESX).
  • Familiarity with server-related technologies (e.g., RAID arrays, LVM, SAN, NAS).
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, IP ROUTING, SSH/SFTP/SCP, DNS, NFS.
  • Familiarity with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity in Datacenter environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts and practices.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Have customer service orientation and English written and verbal communication skills.
