The firm always seems to be trying to take steps to recycle properly or having re-usable cutlery and crockery in the kitchens (including keep cups for people to borrow).

Our office building has a six green star energy rating, waste disposal options include organic, and the firm itself is certified carbon neutral by Climate Active.

The office has recycling and composting facilities. All disposable items in the kitchen are biodegradable. The firm generally does not act on matters that would involve the facilitation significant damage to the environment.

We have introduced keep cups and Tupperware in the kitchens to improve our environmental footprint. On a larger scale, I spoke with the CEO at an event recently and we were discussing ways in which Corrs seeks to minimise its carbon footprint. It is at the forefront of the executives agenda which is notable and exciting. The CEO has been in talks with carbon neutral firms and has been bringing his learnings back to the firm and implementing changes.

We have gone paperless and only have the lights and air conditioning on after 6 when requested.

Corrs could do much more to reduce its environmental footprint, particularly its waste. There could be more of an emphasis on reusable cutlery and crockery, especially for meals/drinks purchased within the building.

The firm has a range of measures to reduce its footprint, including recycling bins on every floor. The new building, Quay Quarter Tower, is itself outstanding and a very green building.
