Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare schedules and analyses of profit and loss accounts such as aircraft and engine lease, aviation insurance, rent, utilities, services, transaction fees, inter company recharges, etc.
  • Prepare schedules, reconciliation and analyses of balance sheet accounts such as prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, allowance for doubtful accounts, accounts payable, GRIR, etc.
  • Prepare and post journal entries for the aforementioned accounts
  • Prepare and provide schedules for route profitability requirements such as CEBGO operating statistics and various operating expense breakdown
  • Prepare and provide tax team with monthly expanded withholding tax report for CEBGO
  • Coordinate with finance business managers for accruals and adjustments to be made for various expense accounts
  • Prepare required disclosures for quarterly and annual financial statements (ex. risk tables for accounts payable and accrued expense accounts)
  • Provide documentary requirements/supports and attends to inquiries from external auditors during interim and annual audits
  • Prepare annual CEBGO books of accounts for filing with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
  • Participate in automation projects and updates involving the General Accounting processes (ex. UAT, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accountancy
  • Experience in airline operations/accounting is a plus
  • Having a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus
